I'm proud to be a friend of SLC's 'Gay Mayor' Troy Williams who was honored at this years Equality Utah Allies Dinner for his years of service and activisim in the LGBTQ community. Click the photo to see his speech available now at Equality Utah's YouTube.

And speaking of friends getting some credit where credit is due, loved seeing this feature on Nick James over at the Collective recently. Nick who you may remember as my sometimes DJ partner opened his own Salon & Drybar "Jouissance" this year and has become a veritable hair star. (A Drybar is a quick blow-dry service that's become popular around the country but is new to Utah).
